Design
Restaurateur Erick Caceres created a unique design Oregano Bar & Bistro, one that reflect the restaurant’s rather singular concept of presenting French and Iberian food under one roof. The “bones” of the design embody the decorative traditions and comfort of a classic French bistro, such as columns encased in more than 5000 interlocking handmade white porcelain tiles creating, mirrors serving as menu boards, displaying the day’s catch for the a\raw bar and high backed leather banquettes.

To these elements he added two high-topped community tables separate the bar from the dining area, which encourage convivial interaction between guests and the restaurant’s stunning Le Jardin d’Oregan (Oregano Garden).

Glassed enclosed on two sides, the room serves as both a memorable private and public dining space with its expansive skylight, centerpiece live bamboo stand floor to ceiling waterfall framed by oregano plants. Le Jardin d’ Oregan overlooks the main dining room and bas, as well as a wall that takes you back in time as a tribute to the prolific 19th century Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha, whose distinctive style for his many paintings, illustrations, advertisements and post cards continue define the artistic genre of the period for many.
